Global Regulation Advisers Corp (GRA) is a specialty consulting firm based in South Florida. GRA was founded in 2014 with the mission to improve the level of integrity that exists in the investment industry. GRA's objective is to assist firms in implementing superior processes for operating the oversight and enforcement of Asset Management Compliance. GRA helps its clients bridge the gap between regulation, asset management, and technology.

GRA's operating model allows for its services to be tailored to fit the specific needs of each client. Since inception, GRA has led its clients through launching startup Compliance Programs, board-requested assessments, Order Management and Compliance System upgrades, and has provided advisory services to assist executives in transforming their organizations and achieving their corporate initiatives. To date, GRA has improved compliance surveillance on more than $2 Trillion AUM of global investor monies.

EXECUTIVE BIO

Karrie C. Prehm is the founder and CEO of Global Regulation Advisers, Corp. Ms. Prehm has spent nearly two decades in the Financial Services industry serving as a trusted adviser to senior executives at asset management firms worldwide. Ms. Prehm has partnered with over 150 buy-side asset management firms on strategic initiatives that include implementing Charles River Investment Management Solution (versions 7, 8, and 9), BlackRock Aladdin and Green Package, and various third party market data vendors. Ms. Prehm has a strong track record of establishing startup Compliance Programs for asset managers and has launched new consulting business lines for technology firms.

Prior to establishing GRA in 2014, Ms. Prehm worked at Charles River Development (CRD) for 9 years where she designed the implementation strategy for the Charles River Data Service startup division, and successfully built the Compliance Consulting Service from inception. Before joining CRD, Ms. Prehm worked at Franklin Templeton Investments where she gained in-depth expertise in Portfolio Accounting and manual Compliance Operations. She then went on to lead Franklin Templeton’s global initiative to implement Charles River Portfolio and PreTrade Compliance. Ms. Prehm began her career at Bank of America where she performed general ledger accounting, conducted research for subpoenas, and enforced Federal Reserve regulations on banking activity. 

Ms. Prehm earned an Executive MBA with a Specialization in International Business from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. She is a seasoned public speaker with more than 10 years of experience presenting on Compliance and Market Data topics at various industry conferences. 

Ms. Prehm is an active member of ACAMS South Florida Chapter, the National Real Estate Association, and is involved with several charity organizations as a member of HandsOn Broward.
